What started as a solo doula practice has now evolved into a team of dedicated doulas who share the same unwavering commitment to autonomous birth, deep nourishment, and unwavering support for mothers who are striving for an intervention-free birth experience.

Our agency model allows us to provide the same high-quality, philosophy-driven care while offering greater flexibility, more availability, and built-in backup support. Each doula on our team is trained in our signature approach—ensuring that no matter who you choose, you’ll receive the same level of wisdom, intuition, and hands-on care that our agency is known for.

  • When you book with Greenville Doula Co, you choose the doula that resonates most with you, or we can match you based on your birth preferences and personality. We suggest meeting with the one(s) that peak your interest for an in-person consult to see if the chemistry is there and ask all of your deepest questions. Whichever doula you decide to book with will be your doula — a close friend to support you throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. In the rare event that she is unavailable (due to illness, attending another birth, etc.), you’ll have a trusted, philosophy-aligned backup doula ready to step in seamlessly.

  • YES! In addition to addressing your birth questions at prenatal visits, all GDC clients receive access to five holistic, comprehensive online courses for pregnancy, birth and beyond. This model allows for full spectrum education, at your own pace, in conjunction with tailored resources from GDC throughout your pregnancy and 1:1 support from your doula.

  • Yes! Every doula on our team is trained in the same holistic, autonomy-first approach to birth. We prioritize physiological birth, whole-body nourishment, informed consent, and a deep respect for your choices. No matter who you work with, you’ll receive the same knowledgeable, intuitive, and personalized support. Our packages are designed to reflect the skills of all of our doulas, so you’re guaranteed those items no matter who you choose; however, there may be additional services available (i.e. photography, body balancing, meal prep, etc) depending on which doula you go with. Feel free to ask more specific questions in your contact form or at an in-person consult!

  • Nope! We help moms achieve autonomy-first, low-intervention birth experiences, regardless of birth location or provider. If you’re unsure about what type of provider or location you want for your birth, we’re happy to discuss your options and help you advocate for the experience you desire!

  • Absolutely! We believe every mother deserves high-quality birth support, so we offer flexible payment plans to make our services accessible. Please do not let cost be a factor in whether or not you choose to have support.

  • All services require a non-refundable deposit to reserve your doula and due date; this is because our team accepts a very limited number of clients each month to allow for individualized care, which sometimes means turning away families in your same due window.

    *While the deposit is non-refundable in most cases, we will always provide a full refund in the event of a pregnancy loss prior to twelve weeks. Additional special circumstances may be handled on a case-by-case basis.
